More than a hotel, The Earl offers a contemporary hotel and two different bar experiences just one block from Round Lake and minutes from Lake Michigan. Sit high above the city and enjoy breathtaking views of Round Lake and downtown Charlevoix at HI Bar. LO Bar, located in our lobby offers cozy indoor and outdoor seasonal seating. Both bars offer the best handcrafted cocktails, our signature Party Girl bubbly, an abundance of Michigan beers and small plate snacks. All our guests are encouraged to start their day with our complimentary light continental breakfast. Specialty coffees are available all day for your sipping pleasure, gratis of course.

VIP Earl Suite
VIPs deserve our largest suite. This two-bedroom suite can sleep up to 8 people and entertain even more. When you book this suite, you get our Earl Suite and connecting King Water View room making a two-bedroom suite fit for a king or queen. Each bedroom has a king bed, private bathroom and balconies overlooking Round Lake and downtown Charlevoix. One of the bathrooms has a jetted tub to soak away your worries. The spacious living room has a gas fireplace, two queen-sized sofa sleepers, dining room table for 6, fully equipped kitchen, half bath and washer and dryer. Start your stay off right with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting in your guestroom.
Earl Suite
Brides love the space this suite offers because it’s designed for socializing and has the largest balcony in the hotel, boasting views of downtown and Round Lake. The bedroom has one plush, king bed, a private bathroom with jetted tub, walk-in shower, dual sink, Beekman 1802 luxury bath amenities, lighted makeup mirror, and plush bath robes. The spacious living room, with two queen-sized sleeper sofas, gas fireplace and half bathroom. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, dining table for 8 and a washer and dryer. Start your stay off right with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine waiting in your guestroom.
