The Irene encompasses a chapel, banquet space, getting-ready rooms for the bride and groom, and a unique bell tower room that offers the perfect photo op. The ceremony and reception space can accommodate weddings of up to 190 guests and lies within walking distance of The Earl.

History
The Irene pays homage to Irene Young, the creative force and muse behind renowned architect Earl Young. Located within The Methodist Church building, construction first commenced in 1874, but a decision to avoid going into debt meant that the church was built gradually as funds were available. It was not completed until February 1878.
